Oil slips from $110 as Iran strike plans face election timing
WTI was last around $91.9 a barrel and Brent about $104.7, while the report flags tanker attacks and a Gulf hurricane as new volatility risks.
Oil prices retreated from the $110 per barrel area after Donald Trump ruled out launching Iran strikes before the midterms, according to OilPrice.
The outlet said the security situation in Saudi Arabia and broader Middle Eastern tensions are still deteriorating, keeping markets jumpy even as the immediate Iran strike threat is delayed.
OilPrice also pointed to potential supply disruptions beyond direct strike risk, including the threat of tanker attacks and a hurricane in the Gulf that could add volatility.
In its latest snapshot, the outlet showed WTI crude at about $91.85 and Brent at about $104.7, alongside higher natural gas prices and declines in heating oil and gasoline.
