Tron founder Justin Sun says post-quantum crypto is live on testnet

Sun said Tron is tracking quantum computing and AI progress and is prepared to move post-quantum cryptography to mainnet at any time.

Cointelegraph reports that Tron founder Justin Sun said Tron’s post-quantum cryptography is now live on testnet.

In a post on X, Sun said the network is closely tracking progress in quantum computing and AI, and is ready to bring quantum resistance to mainnet at any time.

Sun also said Tron is committed to keeping user assets secure, and described Tron as being positioned to be among the major blockchains that are quantum-resistant before “Q-Day,” the day quantum computing could break current security standards.
