Commodities diversification spotlighted as oil rises and gold lags
ETF Trends points to the USCF SummerHaven Dynamic Commodity Strategy No K-1 Fund, which it says manages nearly $800 million in assets.
Gold has been weighed down by rising global bond yields, while oil prices have surged amid geopolitical conflicts, leaving commodities performance uneven, ETF Trends writes.
The outlet says investors who added individual commodities early in 2026 faced both winners and losers, and that a more diversified approach may improve the odds when the sector is not moving in sync.
As an example, ETF Trends highlights the USCF SummerHaven Dynamic Commodity Strategy No K-1 Fund, SDCI, describing it as holding exposure across agriculture, energy and soft commodities, along with positions in industrial and precious metals.
ETF Trends also links the fund’s rationale to current volatility in the energy market, which it attributes in part to the ongoing conflict in Iran.
