Evernorth shares jump 5% in debut for pure-play XRP treasury

Evernorth Holdings shares rose as much as 5% on their Monday Nasdaq debut, with investors welcoming what Cointelegraph described as the first pure-play XRP digital asset treasury. The company’s XRPN stock listing came after Evernorth appointed former Coinbase Asset Management Co-Chief Investment Officer Hugo Jeandesboz as chief investment officer, according to an announcement cited by Cointelegraph.

Jeandesboz will lead the treasury strategy, including treasury allocation and liquidity management, with active management of Evernorth’s XRP holdings, the outlet said.

Cointelegraph also noted that Evernorth deploys its XRP holdings to generate additional income through decentralized finance.
