Harbor raises $10 million to measure, mitigate and insure AI agent risk
The San Francisco-based startup, founded in 2026, evaluates operational, security and regulatory risk for AI agents and provides insurance for the remaining exposure.
Harbor, a San Francisco-based startup focused on AI agent risk, is emerging from stealth with $10 million in funding led by Base10, Abstract and 8VC, with participation from Restive, NFX, Innovation Endeavors, Kibo Ventures, Masia and MVP Ventures, according to Coverager.
Founded in 2026, the company assesses each AI agent’s operational, security and regulatory risk, then helps customers integrate technical and governance controls to mitigate the risks it identifies.
Harbor also offers insurance for the remaining risks after those controls are put in place, the outlet said.
