IMF flags Middle East war risk to global growth amid energy crisis
The IMF expects global growth of 3.4% next year despite the energy crisis being its biggest risk to the outlook.
OilPrice reports that the International Monetary Fund said the energy crisis tied to the war in the Middle East remains the biggest risk to global economic growth.
The IMF said the global economy has been resilient, but that resilience is nearing its limits and the world needs to shift from coping to rebuilding.
The IMF projected global growth of 3.4% next year, while also pointing to investment in artificial intelligence as a source of optimism.
