Invesco expands its QQQ Innovation Suite with a new ETF launch
Invesco launched the Invesco Nasdaq International Innovators 100 ETF on September 23 and said the QQQs ETF line has grown by more than $300 billion, with QQQM reaching $100 billion.
ETF Trends reported that Invesco Global Head of ETFs and Index Strategies Brian Hartigan discussed the growth of the firm’s QQQ Innovation Suite on Bloomberg TV on October 5, saying it stands out even as competitors roll out similar products.
According to Hartigan, Invesco converted its QQQs to a 1940 Act structure and said the QQQs lineup grew by more than $300 billion, while the QQQM fund has “hit $100 billion.”
The suite includes the Invesco NASDAQ 100 ETF (QQQM) and the Invesco Nasdaq Next Gen 100 ETF (QQQJ), and Invesco added a third product on September 23, launching the Invesco Nasdaq International Innovators 100 ETF (QQI).
Hartigan said QQQJ gives exposure to non-U.S. large and mid-cap innovative companies across developed and emerging markets, and he noted that product rationalization is part of Invesco’s strategy as Invesco considers whether to keep products separate.
