Saudi Arabia plans to expand oil pipeline capacity to 10 million bpd

Saudi Arabia plans to increase the capacity of its East-West onshore oil pipeline, which helps it bypass the Strait of Hormuz, to 10 million barrels per day within two to three years, Saudi Energy Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman said at the WPC Energy Congress in Riyadh, according to OilPrice.

The pipeline returned to service after a two-week suspension that followed drone attacks in September, OilPrice reported, and the minister outlined the upcoming expansion timing.
