Treasury yields climb across the curve

Rates move higher, while bond proxies mostly slip and credit is mixed.

Treasury yields rise across the curve. The 5-Yr Treasury is up to 4.282%, the 10-Yr reaches 4.569%, and the 30-Yr climbs to 5.098%. All three sit above their 50-day and 200-day averages.

Bond ETFs are softer. TLT slips 0.0% to 84.21, and VBTLX adds just 0.1% to 9.58. LQD falls 0.1% to 107.5 and sits below its 50-day and 200-day averages, while MUB drops 0.1% to 106.62.

Credit is split. HYG is nearly flat at 79.8 and remains above both moving averages. The move in rates comes alongside a stronger VIX and a weaker Nasdaq, which points to a more cautious tone across risk assets.

The yield picture is also tight on the long end. The 30-Yr ends at 5.098%, and its RSI sits at 89.7. The 10-Yr RSI is 71.2, which keeps the rate backdrop front and center going into the next session.
