AI system aims to help Hong Kong taxi drivers spot high-demand streets

The StreetSights model, developed by Dash and Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, is expected to be available as soon as mid-2027.

Hong Kong taxi drivers are expected to be able to identify streets with higher rider demand using an AI-powered big data prediction model by mid-2027, according to SCMP Economy.

The system, called StreetSights, was developed through a collaboration between Dash and the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
