AXA XL appoints Matt Rodliff chief claims officer for the Americas
Rodliff starts July 13, succeeding Jim DiVirgilio, whose retirement is effective at the end of July.
AXA XL, headquartered in New York City, has appointed Matt Rodliff as chief claims officer for the Americas, effective July 13, Insurance Journal reports.
Rodliff succeeds Jim DiVirgilio, who has announced his retirement effective at the end of July. DiVirgilio spent 18 years at AXA XL, most recently as chief claims officer for the Americas, and will remain available in an advisory role through the end of the year.
Based in Boston, Rodliff joins AXA XL from Liberty Mutual, where he served as vice president for specialized claims. In that role, he led multi-line specialty claims teams and worked on data-driven claims strategies aimed at improving operational efficiency and the customer experience.
In his new position, Rodliff will lead AXA XL’s claims strategy and operations across the Americas. He will oversee claims service delivery to clients and brokers, drive technical excellence, and coordinate closely with underwriting and risk teams.
