Deere agrees to settle FTC and state lawsuit over repair restrictions
Insurance Journal reports that Deere agreed on July 8 to settle a lawsuit brought by the Federal Trade Commission and five U.S. states.
The complaint alleged the farm equipment maker illegally required farmers to use its network of authorized dealers for repairs rather than independent options.
