Marsh appoints Tracie Thompson to lead global portfolio solutions

Thompson, a New York-based executive, brings more than 28 years of insurance industry experience and will report to Marsh Risk President John Donnelly.

Marsh has appointed Tracie Thompson as Global Head of Portfolio Solutions for Marsh Risk, effective immediately, according to Risk & Insurance.

The firm said Thompson will lead the continued development of Marsh’s regional and global proprietary portfolio solutions, with a focus on keeping them scalable, market-ready, and responsive to client needs, and she will report to John Donnelly, president of Global Placement, Marsh Risk.

Marsh described Thompson as having more than 28 years of global insurance industry experience, including expertise in portfolio optimization, commercial strategy, and data-led decision-making.

Thompson previously served as Global Leader, Strategic Accounts at Cytora, where she helped global (re)insurers, brokers, and MGAs embed digital underwriting and portfolio optimization capabilities, and she held senior leadership roles at Aon, including EMEA CEO of Commercial Risk Solutions.
