The appointment comes after more than 16 years at Munich Re, with experience spanning property treaty underwriting and catastrophe modelling.
Munich Re has appointed Linda Langenberg as Head of Section Property Treaty Global Clients and Lloyd’s, according to Reinsurance News.
Langenberg takes on the role after more than 16 years with the company, where she previously held underwriting positions across international property treaty business, including work tied to catastrophe modelling and global client portfolios.
Reinsurance News says she joined Munich Re in 2010 as a junior underwriter and catastrophe modeller for Property Treaty USA and Global Clients, later covering regions including the USA, Caribbean, Latin America, the Netherlands, the UK, and the Nordic region.
In her new position, she will work with Munich Re’s Property Treaty Global Clients and Lloyd’s team during what Reinsurance News characterizes as a dynamic period for the reinsurance market.
