Arch Insurance NA expands transactional liability team in the US
The new team will start by offering Representations and Warranties and Tax coverage products, led by William Carson.
Arch Insurance North America, part of Arch Capital Group Ltd., has launched a new U.S.-based transactional liability team to expand its Transactional Risk Insurance Product capabilities.
The business will initially focus on Representations and Warranties and Tax coverage products, with William Carson joining as Senior Vice President, Transactional Risk. Carson reports to Chris Christon, Senior Vice President, Executive Assurance.
Carson previously spent nearly eight years at Everest, most recently as Head of Transactional Risk, North America, before moving to Arch.
Arch said its direct U.S. platform complements its existing distribution model that includes MGA and MGU partners, with the company describing transactional risk insurance as increasingly important in the M&A landscape.
