RealTrends names 2026 Verified City rankings leaders by agent and team scale
The 2026 rankings cover 74,906 agents and teams across 5,249 cities, with $1.63 trillion in sales volume and 2.5 million transaction sides.
HousingWire reports that the 2026 RealTrends Verified City Rankings include 74,906 entries across 5,249 cities, reflecting $1.63 trillion in total sales volume and 2.5 million transaction sides.
New York City topped the list with 1,378 ranked agents and teams and nearly $58 billion in volume. The rankings show that teams generated $832.69 billion and nearly 1.29 million sides, exceeding individual agents.
The next highest volume markets were Dallas at $32.64 billion, followed closely by Los Angeles at $31.8 billion. Chicago produced $29.66 billion and Phoenix rounded out the top five with $25.93 billion.
HousingWire said the program is designed to highlight local performance, based on the idea that residential real estate recognition should be local as well. RealTrends director Caroline Scanlon said the rankings expand each year to recognize more cities and local leaders, with city-level recognition qualifying 24,382 agents and teams.
