Vermont Captive Insurance Association launches Chicago and Philadelphia chapters
The association said the new regional chapters are intended to provide out-of-state members more frequent local meetings and educational and networking opportunities.
The Vermont Captive Insurance Association is expanding its captive insurance community beyond New England by launching new regional chapters in Chicago and Philadelphia, according to Risk & Insurance.
The group said the new chapters are being rolled out in markets with a high concentration of VCIA members, as well as existing and prospective captive owners and local risk and insurance management communities.
VCIA President Ian Davis said the association is prioritizing markets with clear demand, strong local leadership, and alignment with Vermont’s captive insurance ecosystem.
According to Womble Bond Dickinson (US) LLP partner Eryn Brasovan, local members help shape chapter content based on what matters in their area, enabling more frequent meetings and deeper discussions than one-off events in Vermont.
