Helsing raises $1.8 billion in funding round at $18 billion valuation
The company said investor demand exceeded the amount it planned to allocate in the round, allowing it to raise $1.8 billion.
Helsing, an Europe-based defense and technology firm, raised $1.8 billion in a new funding round that valued the company at $18 billion, CNBC World reported.
In its statement, Helsing said investor demand significantly exceeded the available allocation for the round.
The fundraising comes as the company attracts capital at a valuation that places it among heavily funded private players in its sector, according to CNBC World.
