Julie Dubuisson appointed Lloyd’s Europe Benelux Country Manager
The appointment takes effect July 15, 2026, with Dubuisson tasked with representing and developing Lloyd’s market activity across Belgium, Luxembourg, and the Netherlands.
Lloyd’s Europe has appointed Julie Dubuisson as Country Manager for the Benelux region, effective July 15, 2026, according to Reinsurance News. The role will be based in Luxembourg and focuses on representing and developing the Lloyd’s market across Belgium, Luxembourg, and the Netherlands.
In the position, Dubuisson will work with brokers, insurers, coverholders, and other market stakeholders to support regional market development.
Reinsurance News said Dubuisson most recently served as General Manager, Dirigeant Agréé, and a Board Member of Convex Europe in Luxembourg, where she helped launch, build, scale, and lead the business across the EEA. Her background includes more than two decades of international experience in insurance and reinsurance, with previous leadership roles at AXA, Swiss Re, and Marsh.
Lloyd’s Europe Chief Market Development Officer for Europe, Malik Abassi-Antoine, said the hire reflects the progress Lloyd’s is making in developing and retaining people, and he welcomed Dubuisson to expand growth in the region. Dubuisson said she is excited to contribute to Lloyd’s continued growth in Europe and to begin a new chapter after building Convex Europe.
