Aon and Swiss Re Corporate Solutions integrate via API for digital placement
The API link is designed to support end-to-end connectivity across the commercial insurance placement lifecycle, aiming to reduce manual steps and speed up quoting and binding.
Aon said it has launched an API integration between Aon Broker Copilot and Swiss Re Corporate Solutions, the commercial insurance arm of the Swiss Re Group, with Swiss Re described as the first carrier to connect directly to the Aon Broker Copilot platform via an API.
Aon expects the connection to enable end-to-end digital connectivity across the placement lifecycle, improving how complex risk is submitted, quoted, and bound, and targeting a “faster, more responsive” client experience.
The firms said the integration reflects Aon’s technology investment, tying the effort to its 3×3 Plan and a stated $1.3 billion investment in technology and talent, and positioning it as part of a broader push to embed analytics into broking workflows.
Aon also said the API access gives carriers such as Swiss Re direct reach to Aon’s distribution network, with the firms arguing it can improve underwriting performance and efficiency through structured risk submissions.
