Aon appoints Sean Deehan CEO of strategy and technology for APAC
The new role puts Deehan in charge of expanding adoption of Aon’s PathWise life and annuity risk modeling platform across Asia Pacific.
Aon has appointed Sean Deehan as chief executive officer of its Strategy and Technology Group for Asia Pacific, effective immediately, with Deehan based in Hong Kong and reporting to Sherif Zakhary, Aon’s global CEO for the unit.
In the position, Deehan will focus on expanding access to Aon’s integrated advisory, analytics, and technology-led solutions, including rolling out adoption of the firm’s Life Risk Modeling Suite in APAC, such as PathWise for life and annuity risk modeling.
Aon said Deehan brings more than 25 years of experience across insurance, consulting, strategy, and risk management, with expertise spanning Greater China and the broader Asia Pacific region.
According to Reinsurance News, the appointments also include experience leading growth and businesses across insurance markets, with prior roles at Willis Towers Watson and earlier senior executive and board-level positions, including CEO and executive director of Standard Life (Asia).
