Bitmine earns $45.7M from Ethereum staking in last quarter
Ethereum staking and validation made up 98% of Bitmine’s revenue for the three months ended May 31, with self-mining Bitcoin contributing $624,000.
Cointelegraph reports that Bitmine generated $45.7 million in revenue from Ethereum staking and validation in the latest quarter, after launching an institutional-grade Ethereum staking platform in March.
The outlet said staking revenue represented 98% of Bitmine’s total revenue for the three months ended May 31, based on the company’s latest 10-Q filing, versus $624,000 from self-mining Bitcoin and $168,000 from consulting services.
Bitmine also said it had staked 85% of its ETH holdings, equivalent to about 4.9 million Ether, and pointed to an annualized projected staking reward of $284 million when its ETH is fully staked at scale.
Cointelegraph added that Bitmine’s revenue mix shifted sharply from the prior year quarter, when total revenue for the three months ended May 31, 2025 was $2 million and largely came from machine leasing, alongside the March launch of its MAVAN validator platform.
