Canopius names Nadine Moore to lead its US business

Moore is set to start in September, based in Chicago, and will oversee Canopius’ US retail and wholesale operations.

Nadine Moore has joined specialty insurer and reinsurer Canopius Group from Boston Consulting Group to lead the company’s US business as CEO, as the firm moves to accelerate growth in the region, Reinsurance News reported.

Moore will be based in Chicago and will take charge of Canopius’ US operations from September, joining the Group Leadership Team and reporting to Group CEO Neil Robertson.

In the role, she will lead Canopius’ US operations across both retail and wholesale businesses and will be tasked with spearheading the company’s long-term strategy for the region.

Robertson said Moore has the experience Canopius needs to take its US unit to the next level, citing her market expertise, delivery track record, and relationships across the insurance industry, along with her experience in areas including M&A and AI initiatives in regulated insurance environments.
