King Street restricts redemptions from flagship hedge fund
Investors trying to exit are being moved into a separate vehicle that will liquidate assets over time, as the firm works to stabilize performance and reposition the business.
King Street Capital Management has tightened redemption terms for its flagship hedge fund, according to a report cited by Hedgeweek, limiting the ability of investors to withdraw on their prior schedule.
The firm is transferring investors who want to exit the flagship vehicle into a separate redemption vehicle, which will liquidate assets over time rather than releasing proceeds immediately.
Hedgeweek said the changes are part of King Street’s broader turnaround efforts, aimed at stabilizing the hedge fund’s performance and repositioning the business.
