Oil loading suspended across Iraq terminals after drone hits tanker

WTI was down 0.96% to $79 as flows halted across all Iraq loading terminals after the incident in Basra.

Reuters, citing four Iraqi oil and security sources, said a drone crashed into an oil tanker at Iraq's Basra terminal, with no damage or fire reported.

Despite that, crude oil flows were suspended across all Iraq oil loading terminals following the incident, the sources said.

WTI, the US benchmark, was trading 0.96% lower at $79 as the suspension unfolded, according to the report.
