US jury indicts South Dakota investor on 29 counts in crypto fraud case

A federal jury has returned an indictment charging South Dakota crypto investor Benjamin Paul Wiener with 29 counts tied to an alleged crypto fraud, The Block reports.
The DOJ accuses Wiener of running a scheme that it says resulted in $20 million in investor fraud, the outlet said.
The case is set to go to trial on Sept. 15, according to The Block.
