Zillow Rentals is integrated into Google Gemini connected apps
The partnership lets renters search for apartments and schedule tours via Gemini, then complete bookings through Zillow.
Alphabet and Zillow expanded their integration so that Zillow Rentals works as a connected application within Alphabet's Google Gemini and Gemini Spark ecosystem, according to Yahoo Finance.
The update makes Zillow Rentals the only real estate platform included in Gemini's connected app offering, enabling renters to search for apartments and schedule tours inside Google's AI assistant before moving to Zillow to finalize bookings.
Alphabet also said it is discontinuing its Tenor API as it reallocates resources toward core products, with API and ads distribution agreements tied to Tenor terminated after June 30 and existing integrations set to be fully decommissioned.
The Tenor API previously supported GIF search integration across applications, including support across more than 45 languages, the outlet noted.
