Aon expands Vlad Bobko’s role for political, war and crisis risks
Bobko will assume global strategy oversight for political risk, war risk and crisis management in Aon’s Risk Capital starting immediately, while retaining his regional CEO duties for Central and Eastern Europe and the Nordics.
Aon plc has expanded Vlad Bobko’s leadership responsibilities, naming him Global Head of Strategy for Political Risk, War Risk and Crisis Management within Risk Capital, effective immediately, while he continues serving as CEO of Central and Eastern Europe and the Nordics.
According to the company, the expanded remit is designed to blend Bobko’s regional leadership experience with specialist expertise as clients face geopolitical uncertainty, supply chain disruption and security risks.
Aon said Bobko will help develop integrated Risk Capital capabilities for organizations operating across international markets, and that his expanded strategy role aligns with growing client demand for integrated risk services.
Reinsurance News reports that Bobko joined Aon in 2004, previously leading crisis management activities out of the Aon Global Broking Center in London, including oversight of structured credit and political risk teams. The firm also noted his experience spans both retail and reinsurance markets.
