Blue Zebra renews QBE motor insurance partnership in Australia

The renewed multi year deal is meant to give Blue Zebra broker partners and customers more consistency and predictability, and follows Blue Zebra's Feb. 11, 2026 share sale that created a combined entity.

Blue Zebra Insurance has renewed its partnership with QBE under a multi year agreement covering personal and commercial motor insurance in Australia, according to Coverager.

QBE joined Blue Zebra as a capacity provider just over a year ago, and the insurer said the renewal is intended to provide greater consistency and predictability for its broker partners and customers.

As part of the update, Blue Zebra also said it expanded its motor insurance team with three appointments, including Grigg with more than 18 years of general insurance experience and Goldych and Anforth with about 15 years each.

Coverager added that Blue Zebra's Head of Cyber, Aaron Langmaid, will join Emergence in July, and that the platform developed with broker partners will continue to evolve based on broker feedback, after a share sale completed on February 11, 2026 formally created one combined entity.
