Cafe Aroma leases 2,200 sq ft retail space at 1410 Madison Ave
The Upper East Side tenant is taking 2,200 square feet at the base of a five-story residential building near Mount Sinai, with asking rent and lease length undisclosed.
Avenues Equity Partners’ 1410 Madison Avenue in Carnegie Hill will gain a new coffee shop and bakery, with Cafe Aroma taking 2,200 square feet of retail space at the base of the five-story residential building, according to Commercial Observer.
Landlord broker Meridian Capital Group said the asking rent and lease length were not disclosed. Meridian’s Jacob Mayer represented the landlord in the transaction, while Shai Baradarian and Tamir Baradarian of eRealty Advisors represented Cafe Aroma.
In a statement, Mayer described the space as a rare turnkey restaurant location in a high-traffic Upper East Side setting, highlighting interest from operators seeking proximity to Mount Sinai and the area’s dense residential base.
Commercial Observer also reported that Avenues Equity Partners bought 1410 Madison Avenue and 1412 Madison Avenue for $6.3 million in January 2025, and that the deal marks Cafe Aroma’s first Upper East Side location and sixth Manhattan site.
