Lockton hires senior casualty and client advisory leaders in Sweden
The broker says the new appointments follow its expansion push across Sweden and the Nordic region and add coverage expertise across multiple practice areas.
Independent insurance broker Lockton is expanding its Sweden business with two senior leadership appointments, naming Johanna Nordkvist as Senior Vice President and Head of Casualty, and Anna Marchow as Vice President, Senior Client Advisor, according to Reinsurance News.
Both executives join from Marsh. Nordkvist brings more than two decades of experience in casualty and client implementation roles, with prior senior positions at JLT and AIG, while Marchow spent the last decade coordinating complex insurance programs and advising multinational organizations across international markets.
Lockton Sweden CEO Johan Lindvall said the hires reflect the firm’s ability to attract talent as it grows its presence across Sweden and the Nordic region. The two executives will be based in the Stockholm office and work closely with colleagues across Casualty, Complex Property, Affinity, and Real Estate in Sweden, London, and the US.
Reinsurance News reports the appointments come as Lockton accelerates growth in the region to meet rising demand for independent client services, following additional hires in the past year including Lindvall as CEO, Patrick Rönnqvist as Head of Affinity, and Magnus Sjöstrand as Head of Complex Property.
