MADE Bush Terminal in Brooklyn hosts CRE networking event

The five-building mixed-use project will roll out over the next few years, with leasing led by NYCEDC and a new 1,000-capacity music venue slated for the site.

Commercial Observer reports that its annual summer real estate networking mixer took place at MADE Bush Terminal in Sunset Park, Brooklyn, drawing participants from across the commercial real estate industry to a new mixed-use complex.

The event featured attendees gathering inside Building A, which is already home to several tenants, as well as a fireside chat with representatives connected to the project. NYC Economic Development Corporation leasing staff said the public event was a preview of what is underway at the site.

MADE Bush Terminal is planned as a five-building development that will be built out slowly over the next few years, with the complex described as primarily targeting companies with light industrial uses. The site also includes other planned amenities, including a brewery and a new 1,000-capacity music venue.

Commercial Observer also highlighted early tenants, including lighting manufacturer Stickbulb and design studio Pelle, which moved into Building A in February after operating out of a smaller studio in Red Hook. The project is being handled through leasing and asset management efforts tied to NYCEDC and its partners.
