Stewart buys majority stake in Fort Worth title agency Rattikin

The transaction expands Stewart Title’s footprint in Fort Worth and the broader North Texas region, with Rattikin continuing to operate under its brand as part of Stewart’s family of companies.

Stewart Title has acquired a majority interest in Fort Worth-based Rattikin Title Company, expanding its presence in North Texas, according to Coverager.

Rattikin, founded in 1944, provides commercial and residential title and escrow services across Texas. The outlet said the company is one of the state’s oldest and largest title agencies.

Stewart said the deal is intended to support Rattikin’s expansion in Fort Worth and the broader North Texas region. The Rattikin brand will continue operating as part of Stewart’s family of companies.

Coverager reported that the financial terms were not disclosed, and described additional background in the companies involved, including NAN’s experience in appraisal management and Informative Research’s configurable platform for lenders.
