InsurGrid launches AI intake-to-ACORD workflow for commercial applications
The workflow maps client answers, policy documents and carrier details into editable ACORD forms, with agencies able to review every field before downloading PDFs.
InsurGrid, an AI-powered policy data collection and verification platform for property and casualty agencies, launched a connected intake-to-ACORD workflow for commercial lines. The system combines Custom Intake Forms with an AI ACORD Form Generator to map structured client and policy data into editable ACORD applications, which agents can review and change before downloading PDF submissions.
The workflow is designed to consolidate client answers, policy documents, carrier information and application fields into a single submission, aiming to reduce repeated entry and surface missing information earlier. InsurGrid said agencies can use the workflow across prequalification, new-business submissions, renewals and remarketing.
The company supports ACORD forms including 125, 126, 130, 140, 80 and 185, covering property, liability, auto and workers’ compensation workflows. InsurGrid also cited industry survey results from the Big “I” Agents Council for Technology, where 68% of surveyed agencies planned to increase AI use in the next 12 months, with 60% expecting operational efficiency benefits.
InsurGrid said the tools are available now to all customers on its $99-per-month plan. The platform serves 2,500 agents, has processed more than 100,000 declaration pages, and has supported more than $250 million in closed premium, according to the announcement.
