Miller Milling promotes Carter Wands to technical sales and ITC manager
Wands joined Miller Milling in September 2023 and previously led technical sales and innovation roles before the promotion.
Miller Milling has promoted Carter Wands to technical sales and ITC manager, the company said. Wands most recently served as manager of technical sales and innovation since joining in September 2023.
Before that role, he was manager of technical sales and innovation for varietal solutions at Bay State Milling, and earlier held technical sales roles for cakes and sweet goods and West Coast bread at AB Mauri North America for three years.
Wands also has experience as a technical service manager for retail at Manildra Group USA, along with earlier work in product development and bakery and mill technologist roles at Manildra Group.
He has additional industry involvement, serving as a director-at-large for the American Society of Baking and chairing the ASB’s Membership and Marketing Committee for 2025 to 2026, and he holds a bachelor’s degree in bakery science and milling science from Kansas State University.
