NAI Hiffman and GREA close four-parcel Hinsdale commercial portfolio sale
The transaction closed on a 37,540-square-foot downtown site at 10 W. Chicago Avenue that includes ground-level retail and second-floor office space.
NAI Hiffman and GREA announced the closing of the Downtown Hinsdale Portfolio, a four-parcel, multi-tenant commercial property located at 10 W. Chicago Avenue in downtown Hinsdale, Illinois.
The asset spans 37,540 square feet and includes a single-story barrel-truss-roof building plus additional partial two- and single-story space, totaling about 19,690 net rentable square feet. The site also features a 49-space surface parking lot.
According to ConnectCRE, the property is income-producing with five ground-level retail spaces and eight second-floor offices. The barrel-truss building was originally constructed in 1926 for the Weiss Auto Shop, with 26 to 28 W. Chicago added around 1932.
NAI Hiffman Senior Vice President Arthur Burrows, along with GREA Senior Managing Directors William Montana and Christopher Sackley and Associate Kyle Jamison, represented ownership as the sole and exclusive agents in the transaction. The sellers acquired the property from the Comiskey family, the original owners of the Chicago White Sox, in 1964.
