Renaissance Alliance launches program for emerging independent agencies
The program provides independent agencies with carrier access, technology, and operational infrastructure, aimed at easing the shift from captive to independent distribution.
Renaissance Alliance has launched Renaissance Launch, a program designed to support start-up and emerging independent insurance agencies, including captive agents moving to the independent channel, licensed professionals starting agencies, small agencies looking to scale, and commercial-focused firms seeking broader market access.
According to Coverager, the program offers carrier access plus technology and operational infrastructure, along with strategic support intended to reduce the operational barriers of establishing an independent agency and help participants focus on growth.
Coverager reports that Renaissance says its model combines market access with tech-enabled services, and cites David Gonzalez, its Director of Emerging Markets, who said the initiative is meant to make the transition from the captive model more practical by providing access to markets and operational support from the outset.
