Teja Engineering Industries shares jump after NSE SME debut
The stock opened at a steep 90% premium to its IPO price of ₹220, after an IPO that raised ₹37.36 crore.
Teja Engineering Industries, a newly listed NSE SME company, has more than doubled IPO allottees money since its listing on 7 July 2026, after debuting at a 90% premium.
LiveMint Markets said the stock began trading at ₹418 on the NSE against the IPO price of ₹220 and has since delivered 6% gains over the past week and 26.45% returns on a year-to-date basis. As of Monday, it was trading 3.31% lower at ₹555.
The IPO was an entirely fresh issue of 16.98 lakh shares, raising ₹37.36 crore, and was open for subscription from 30 June to 2 July before the basis of allotment was finalized on 3 July.
The company plans to use the net proceeds for equipment and machinery acquisition, working capital needs, and general corporate purposes. LiveMint Markets also noted its revenue from operations rose from ₹31.62 crore in FY24 to ₹55.22 crore in FY25, while profit after tax increased from ₹2.2 crore to ₹4.02 crore.
