ECB names Boris Kisselevsky Director General Secretariat

Kisselevsky will start the role on 1 November 2026, succeeding Petra Senkovic, who moves to Director General Legal Services.

The European Central Bank has appointed Boris Kisselevsky as Director General Secretariat, according to an ECB announcement.

Kisselevsky, currently Head of the ECB Representative Office in the House of the Euro in Brussels, will take up the position on 1 November 2026 and will oversee strategic direction and staff management across three divisions.

In the new role, he will represent the ECB on internal and external committees and at high level fora, replacing Petra Senkovic, who will become Director General Legal Services.

The ECB said Kisselevsky has been with the institution since 1998, serving previously in economist and management roles, including stints with the IMF and the Central Bank of Russia, and roles connected to outreach, media, and the French Treasury.
