GHV Infra Projects jumps amid earnings surge and new EPC contract
The stock rose as much as 1.3% on Tuesday, even as India’s Sensex and Nifty opened lower, according to LiveMint Markets.
GHV Infra Projects shares rose in India’s Tuesday session despite a broader sell-off in the domestic market, with the stock gaining as much as 1.25% to ₹225.95 on the NSE. The company’s shares opened at ₹220, compared with a prior close of ₹223.15, while the Sensex opened at 77,649.63 versus 77,708.52 and the Nifty started at 24,216.05 versus 24,238.50.
LiveMint Markets said GHV Infra Projects reported sharp improvement in its March quarter performance, with revenue up 67.25% quarter-on-quarter to ₹213.60 crore and net profit, or PAT, rising to ₹19.84 crore from ₹6.48 crore in the prior quarter. The filing also showed return ratios of ROE at 82.09% and ROCE at 68.52%.
The company said it has continued expanding its engineering and EPC business after transitioning from computer software. Alongside the results, it announced a new EPC contract worth around ₹1,250 crore for the Jalna–Nanded Expressway Connector Project in Maharashtra, with an expected completion timeline of 30 months.
LiveMint Markets also noted the shares have been volatile, gaining 24% in two weeks and 3% in a month, while declining 23% over three months and 21% year-to-date.
