Novo Nordisk sues Eli Lilly over alleged GLP-1 ad practices

Novo Nordisk has filed a lawsuit targeting Eli Lilly over how Lilly is presenting GLP-1 medicines in U.S. advertising, MarketWatch reports.

The Danish drugmaker says the ads do not include the most up to date clinical information about its drugs, arguing the materials being used are incomplete.

The dispute comes as the GLP-1 market reaches what Novo describes as an inflection point, MarketWatch adds.
