Risk Theory soft-launches Jupiter Platinum Home for CA wildfire risks
The program targets high-net-worth California homes, with dwelling limits starting at $750,000 and coverage up to $25 million.
Risk Theory has soft-launched Jupiter Platinum Home, a primary excess and surplus lines homeowners product focused on high-net-worth properties in California, including homes with significant wildfire exposure and those facing wildfire-related non-renewals, according to Coverager.
The program covers dwellings with limits starting at $750,000 and total insured values up to $25 million. Capacity is provided by an A.M. Best-rated A-VIII carrier.
Risk Theory said select retail agents will begin onboarding over the next several weeks, with a broader rollout later this summer. Agents can quote, bind and issue policies through an online portal, while claims are handled by Risk Theory’s in-house Applied Claims Group.
Coverager also noted that Jupiter Platinum Home expands Risk Theory’s high-net-worth homeowners lineup in California. The company previously launched Jupiter Excess in February 2025, offering up to $10 million in excess coverage above the California FAIR Plan, and expanded it in December 2025 to follow form over all homeowners policies with a $3 million threshold.
