Arthur J. Gallagher acquires W.N. Tuscano Agency

The acquisition brings W.N. Tuscano’s wholesale brokerage in Pennsylvania into Gallagher’s Risk Placement Services unit, expanding its binding authority and programs.

Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. has acquired W.N. Tuscano Agency, a managing general agency and wholesale insurance broker based in Greensburg, Pennsylvania, according to Coverager.

The transaction terms were not disclosed. W.N. Tuscano serves independent insurance agents across western Pennsylvania and will become part of Gallagher’s wholesale brokerage, binding authority and programs division, Risk Placement Services.

Robin Tuscano and the agency’s employees will remain at their current location and report to Steve Levin, RPS’s Northeast region leader.

Gallagher chairman and CEO J. Patrick Gallagher Jr. said the agency complements Gallagher’s market expertise and expands its wholesale capabilities in Pennsylvania.
