Targa Telematics partners with Hyundai to expand fleet data services
The deal includes direct integration of Hyundai vehicle data streams into Targa Telematics’ platform and adds EV management features for Hyundai electric fleets.
Targa Telematics announced a partnership with Hyundai Connected Mobility GmbH to expand its portfolio of data solutions for fleet operators across Europe by integrating Hyundai vehicles into its platform.
The collaboration will include the direct integration of fleet data streams, which the company says will support new mobility services for fleet managers, including maintenance, stolen vehicle recovery, claims management, fraud detection, driving analysis, activity reporting and EV management.
The agreement covers different generations of vehicles, allowing operators to manage electrified fleets that include newer Hyundai models as well as earlier vehicles through a single data integration setup.
Targa Telematics also said it will provide advanced EV management capabilities for Hyundai electric vehicles, including monitoring battery charge levels, remaining driving range, charging status and energy consumption, via full operational visibility over electrified fleets.
