Imas introduces Multimilla + roller mill with automated controls
The new roller mill uses infrared sensors for precise feeding management and the i-GPC system to monitor grinding pressure in real time.
Imas unveiled its Multimilla + roller mill, saying the equipment is built with the latest technology across the feeding and grinding process.
The company highlighted an untraditional structural design focused on strength, durability and hygiene, including stainless steel contact surfaces, rounded internal corners and minimized dead areas.
Imas said its mineral casting carrier chassis, developed by its R&D team, delivers 20 times better vibration damping than welded steel, aiming to improve operational reliability and long term durability.
The milling system is designed for easier operation and maintenance, with features including infrared sensor based level control in the inlet bunker, a feed roll rotation sensor for unexpected situations, a direct drive feeding system, and torque motors for energy efficiency.
