Newmark arranges 71,613-square-foot cold storage lease in Kent, Washington
The leased facility in Yellowstone Industrial Park offers direct access to transportation and distribution infrastructure near the ports of Seattle and Tacoma and minutes from Seattle Tacoma International Airport.
Newmark has arranged a 71,613-square-foot cold storage industrial lease for Plymouth Poultry Company at 18404 72nd Avenue South in Kent, Washington, according to ConnectCRE.
The property is located in Yellowstone Industrial Park, a submarket described as one of the Puget Sound region’s strategically important industrial areas, with the site positioned between the Ports of Seattle and Tacoma and minutes from Seattle Tacoma International Airport.
ConnectCRE says the building, which previously housed Dreyer’s Ice Cream, includes specialized freezer infrastructure and is described as a rare cold storage asset in North Kent Valley.
ConnectCRE reports that Executive Vice Chairman Thad Mallory and Vice Chairman Taylor Hoff represented the landlord, a private local ownership group, and Hoff said frozen storage typically depends on third-party operators because relatively few facilities allow tenants to control their own freezer operations.
