Oakbridge partners with Larry S. Helms & Associates in Charlotte

Oakbridge Insurance has partnered with Larry S. Helms & Associates Insurance Services, a Charlotte, North Carolina agency that serves commercial and personal lines customers.

Larry S. Helms & Associates specializes in areas including construction and collector vehicles, and manages one of the region’s largest Hagerty portfolios focused on high value collector automobiles.

Coverager reports the partnership is designed to give Larry S. Helms & Associates access to Oakbridge’s specialty resources and carrier relationships while preserving its local leadership and client relationships.

Oakbridge CEO Matt James said the move reflects a focus on disciplined risk management as underwriting becomes more selective, while Steven Helms, a principal at Larry S. Helms & Associates, said clients benefit from improved negotiating ability and access to broader specialty insight while keeping relationships rooted in Charlotte.
