The Hartford sues Dallas firm for $311,479 in unpaid workers' comp premiums
The lawsuit, filed July 21, 2026, alleges post-audit billing from two policy terms ending April 30, 2024, with no payment made after a final bill sent in January 2026.
The Hartford and related insurers have filed suit against Unifeye Vision Partners Holdings LLC in US District Court in the Northern District of Texas, seeking $311,479 in workers' compensation premiums the carriers say remain unpaid.
According to the complaint, the policies covered two consecutive terms from April 30, 2022 through April 30, 2024, with premiums initially estimated based on projected payroll, employee counts, and employee classification codes, then adjusted after premium audits.
The filing says Hartford completed audits on June 17, 2024 and May 26, 2025, which allegedly showed Unifeye owed additional amounts, and that the carriers sent a final bill on or about January 9, 2026 that has not been paid.
The insurers bring claims for breach of contract, suit on account, and unjust enrichment, and they are seeking attorneys' fees, interest, and costs, according to the court filing.
