Aon appoints Brian Fomby North America MD of PathWise
The appointment takes effect on 27 July 2026, and the role focuses on expanding PathWise’s client offerings and implementing growth programs across North America.
Aon plc has named Brian Fomby as North America managing director of PathWise, a unit within the company’s Strategy and Technology Group. The change is scheduled to take effect on 27 July 2026, with Fomby reporting to Van Beach, Aon’s Global Head of Life Solutions.
In the position, Fomby is expected to lead PathWise’s growth and strategic direction across North America, including managing implementation programs, broadening client offerings, and strengthening key business relationships. He will also work with Aon’s global life solutions team to guide development and delivery of the PathWise actuarial modelling platform.
Aon said the PathWise technology is built to help life and annuity insurers address operational and strategic challenges, improve resilience, and support sustainable, profitable growth. The company describes its life solutions business as bringing together actuarial advisory services, the PathWise modelling technology, and life reinsurance broking capabilities, an integrated offering aimed at life and annuity re, insurers, asset managers, and private equity firms active in the life insurance market.
Fomby joins from Milliman, where he previously worked as a principal in the life technology solutions practice. According to Aon, he has advised insurance clients across North America and the United Kingdom, and Aon said his background in applying technology to support better business decisions will help expand PathWise’s value for clients.
