Arrakis emerges from stealth with $38 million venture funding for industrial AI
The London and Paris startup said its AI operating system is aimed at aerospace, energy, logistics, and manufacturing, with a post-money valuation of $140 million.
Arrakis, a seven-month-old London and Paris startup building what it calls an AI operating system for industrial companies, has emerged from stealth after raising $38 million in venture capital funding, according to Yahoo Finance.
The company’s latest round is a $30 million Series A led by Blossom Capital, with participation from Accel, GFC, MainObject, and Rerail. Arrakis also previously raised a $7.5 million seed round.
Yahoo Finance reports the Series A values Arrakis at $140 million post-money. The article also notes that investors include Datadog CEO Olivier Pomel and OpenAI’s head of business products, Olivier Godement.
Arrakis said its focus is on applying agentic AI to industrial sectors such as aerospace, energy, logistics, and manufacturing, rather than work concentrated around knowledge tasks. CEO Rafael Quintanilla told Fortune the biggest return opportunity is among the 70% of workers involved in producing and moving physical goods.
